I have an 01 3.0L and I am considering the Dinan software download; however, if the throttle band gets any tighter, I doubt that my wife could drive the car. She has trouble with timing the clutch and throttle - did not grow up on one as I did. Can I expect a quicker throttle with the download? Advise.


Someone who downloaded it said it made the car feel a lot quicker. Some attribute this to increasing the throttle response, which is to say, taking the full throw of the gas pedal and condensing it, so to speak, so it responds quicker and gives more with less press down.

Most find the stock response a bit sluggish. This changes that. Though please note, I have not experienced this myself.
