I was getting triple chirp and weird domelight behavior. Always on, always off, off and on. Dealer replaced a door latch mechanism and now all is back to normal. This is a 2001, but sounds like the same symptoms.


Does anybody know if the domelight switches, trunk light switch are also the switches for the factory security system on a 98? They all seem to work for the lights but I get the triple chirp when I try to activate with the remote. The push switch SEEMS to be ok also, under the hood(I tried to jump across it and still no security activate. Triple chirp again.
