will be next Saturday. I do hope to see old and new friends on this trip.

I don't know if I'm going to organize any more trips after this one, so it will be some of my favorite roads in Western Washington (trust me-all motorcyclists know good roads, ask the Redmond Roadster!).

We will meet at Northgate at 8:30 a.m. in front of Nordstroms and pick up other folks in Marysville (I believe we will be taking exit 207 and head West, to the Chevron). Part of the trip was going to be for Carlin and Denise as they requested a trip to Jordan road. I did predrive part of this route nearly two months ago but a planned party never materialized...Anyway, we will hit two whoop-de's (a la Lemay tour) before hitting Chuckanut drive (think highway 101 in California but shorter in distance).

We will then hit some PHENOMENAL windies near Bellingham and attempt to find Jordan Road from highway 9. Y'all be patient as I haven't done the route before and I will be attempting the radio and driving and reading directions. Sigh. Insane job as I found out this weekend, although the 9 cars at the Ocean Shores CCA drive did have a great time. Overrepresentation of M3's and underrepresentation of, well, us.

There is likely going to be one more trip on the 18th, but it will be a warm-up for Homecoming. I'm likely to do the North Cascades loop, which will be close to 500 extraordinary miles. Feel free to come if you want to drive (and drive, and drive) a very far distance with very limited breaks (first break will be Winthrop, unless there is an actual burst bladder). That reminds me of the Mathematician (Toricelli?) who wouldn't leave the table before his guests and ended up actually bursting his bladder and dying. Even Homecoming aint worth that!

Dave out
