I'm quite suprised that I've even received one of these invitations. It's not exactly like I'm this major customer of BMW with a string of purchases behind me (only one 2 year old Z3 purchased last year).
I can only assume that they have some kind of random mailing to customers who fit some a profile. Then again it may have been the postings that I made about my wife Barb wanting to purchase a 3 series cabrio. Who knows.

How did you get the invite.
I received this letter in the mail from BMW Canada. At first I thought it was a CD as it was the same square size but it was a pamphlet and letter inviting me to a "BMW Comparison Drive".
The deal is that they will provide a new 3 Series (330i and 330xi), a Mercedes C320, Volvo S60 T5, Lexus IS300, Acura 3.2TL and Audi A4 2.8 Quattro to be driven together for a 2 hour period. The meeting place is at the Vancouver Indy Paddock so I am assuming that we get to drive on the Indy course. Sounds like a pretty cool way to blow 2 hours !
I'm wondering if anyone else received an invitation like this before?
