Speaking of residue, does everyone else get the foggy residue on the inside after only about a couple of weeks after cleaning the rear window? What the heck is that? It wipes right off with a dry cotton towel, but it's damn annoying.

Anyone?

Lostboy

i tried using the meguiars #10 polish on the rear plastic window. used as directed. rubbed on; let dry; buffed off. but it left a lot of residue and streaks.

anyone know what i am doing wrong?

The residue is the evaporation of the chemicals that they add to the PVC to make it flexible. UV radiation evaporates these chemicals out of the windo, making the PVC more rigid and brittle.
