Jon,

Good luck with it, hopefully yours turns out better then mine.

I'm definitly having a love/hate relationship with the epoxy.

I love it as it does reflect the overhead lighting which helps to brighten up the garage. Spilling a little oil or whatever is extremely easy to clean up. Ditto for just sweeping it clean too.

I hate it because of the lifting which requires the carpet runners under the wheels to prevent it from getting worse. If your jack has metal wheels (mine does) it will probably occasionally leave marks in the paint to which is annoying. I had the same problem with my cheapo creeper... but at least that gives me an excuse to sometime upgrade to Griot's latest version of their creeper.

Also, in the winter the paint is a pain because it doesn't let the water from the snow/ice be absorbed by the concrete. This made my garage *very* humid over the winter which isn't great for some of my tools. I'll probably add a dehumidifier out there for next winter.

"and 1200 watts of flourscent lighting"

Wow! How big is your garage? I use 4 of Home Depots best garage flourescent lights in mine and it is very bright.

Save some money toward AC in the garage. I added a 12k BTU unit a few weeks ago and it was probably the best upgrade I've done out there so far!

Shawn
