...The car can be repaired, or replaced, you can't. I shudder to think what woulda happened had you been driving a Miata, or some other roadster. After all I've read on the MB about people walking a way from accidents like that, I can take comfort in knowing that all of us are driving one of the safest sportscars on the road. Praise God!! Last night while waiting behind a zillion cars to move on an exit ramp to I-5 due to the summer bottle-neck of construction 4 lane freeway down to 1 lane I noticed in my review mirror coming at a high speed a car I knew then a rear end was inevitable, so did a quick check...seatbelt, handbrake, room between my zee and car in front, both feet on the brake pedal, car in neutral, tuck neck between shoulder blades, and hold on for dear life...screeeeech BANG! the chowder head hit me with full force. After the impact the first thing that came to my mind was @#@$%# there goes homecoming!! I new this little car was tough, but you should have seen the other car.
