I like the look of the hard boot better but I also like my soft boot. It fits well and gives a much more finished look to the car than no boot cover at all. I use it on trips and it does take up much less room in the trunk than the OEM cover. It is also very easy to put on and take off. You can even take it off while sitting in the car. It should work well in Door County to keep the fall leaves out of the folds in the top.
