I brought my car to the dealer for some warranty work a few weeks ago (Bass rattle, rear clunk, climate control malfunction). The service advisor was very nice about it. But when the car was returned to me, all my memory features were reset (DRLs, autolock, etc.). Also, they forgot to plug in the rear subwoofer (gee, no wonder the rattle was gone). When I pointed these mistakes out to the advisor, there was a sudden 180 degree change in attitude. Its almost as though they knew that by their screw up, they would not get a good score on the survey. So to make a long story short, I gave them a poor rating as expected. After all, aside from the climate control working again, the bass rattle is still there and the rear clunk still occurs when going over small bumps. But also, my presets were never reactivated (they wanted me to bring the car back for that a few days later). So my question is, by giving them a POOR rating, am I now branded for life and everytime I bring my car in for service I will be getting the 3rd or 4th class treatment?? Should I expect them to beat on my car when I bring it in for warranty work again?
