2001 3.0, oil on the fan behind the radiator (archive)

Hello,

Today I opened the hood of my Z3 and noticed that there is oil (or something like oil) over the blades of the fan that's behind the radiator. It also seems that, as the fan rotated, it threw some oil on the side of the windshield washer reservoir. Is this normal? Tomorrow I'll schedule an appointment for service to have it checked just in case, but is it dangerous to drive the car for a few days?
