William,

If the pads wore down enough to the trigger the wear sensors, which in turn triggers the instrument panel light, then they have to be replaced along with the pads. See Bentley's 340-5

My break pad light came on last week after 48,000 miles, so I purchased and installed Porterfields all around, but the light is still on. Does it need to be reset, or did I re-install the contacts wrong?

Please help.

-William
