I did this ( 3.46) with my '97 M3 & my '94 325is-- all I can say is wow. I also had a 3.93 in my is way too short 1st, 2nd & 3rd .I plan to put a 4.46 in my Z3 my Z3 3.0 eventually. Really changes the accelleration but not the top end.

Anyone done the diff upgrade?
my buddy just put on 265/40 on the rear and 235/45 on the front...the new rear tire size effectively changes the rear end ratio to a 3.15

now he's thinking about getting a Quaife diff with a 3.46 or 3.73...which would end up being an effective 3.37 or 3.64 because of the tire size...

just wondering if anyone has done it already and their comments on the performance...

thanks,
rukman
