I'm a big fan of roadsters in general. I really like the Lotus Elan. The styling looks good to me, but it looked a little too much like the early 90s Mercury Capri. I never got the car out of second gear (I was in a parking lot), but it had great throttle response and an awesome exhaust note. The steering response was great--probalby due to the 40 series tires. The shifter was somewhat rubbery, but not a whole lot worse than my 97 1.9. The interior doesn't hold a candle to the Z3. The leather seemed higher quality than the Z3, but everything else wasn't good at all. You could definatley tell that this was a late '80s car design. Although I didn't drive it too much--or too hard--I thought that it was a fun car. I took some pictures, but I'll have to get the film developed and scanned before I post them.
