I actually adjusted mine to where is didn't touch. I could be the oil on the foam filter turning color like mine did. Since it truely isn't a "cold air" filter on the end anyways, I replaced it with a Tuchan industries RActive cold air jet style input cone filter. Works better than that ITG piece of foam!
