As long as it took the coolant temp to reach normal operating status is about what it will take additionally for the oil to hit normal.
Keep in mind, too, even if you do have a temp gauge for the oil, that just because the oil is at operating temp doesn't mean you can "fly." For instance, if you step into a store, having already shut down the car, and then spend five minutes there, when you come out the oil temp will show normal op temps but, really, most of the oil in that five minutes has drained down and will need to be re-distributed. Not entirely a big deal, but getting into your car at that point and then flying away isn't all that smart till you're sure the engine, all parts of it, are seeing oil. Best to drive under 4000 rpms for a couple of minutes at the least.
