I have heard a couple things repeated by many people that have driven Blizzaks. First, they say that they are the best snow tire around. Then they say that they are way to mushy for a performance car and they got rid of them after one season. After I did a bunch of research, I decided on the Michelin Arctic Alpins. They still give more than adequate snow/ice traction, but aren't as sloppy as the Blizzaks. Given that most of the winter is driven on clear roads, I wanted to avoid being too mushy in corners. The Arctic Alpins got me through the snowiest December in Wisconsin history this past year.
