96 Z3 1.9 w/78K miles for 14K.....good buy? (archive)

I am in the market for a 96 to 98 Z3 and I have come across a seller who will sell me his 96 Z3 1.9 w/78K miles for $14K and pay to have it shipped to me (approx. 600.00), which means that the car is really selling for $13,400.00. He claims that he is 2nd owner and has all service records and that the car is under a 100K mile warranty through GE, but that it is NOT transferrable, but that the car is in top mechanical shape due to the 100K warranty. The car is the right color combination and the price seems right.

Dilemma is that I think that the 2.8 engine in a 97 would be better for me, but at $14K for this 96 w/1.9 engine, is this too good of an offer to pass up??
