Yes actually. I posted awhile back about a problem with my a pillar covers popping off. I later got a phone call from someone from BMW NA. I believe I still have her number. She said she called the dealership and they weren't aware of the problem. However, they would be happy to fix it. I brought it in and they did fix it. Although I think they could have done a better job. Either way, it did happen to me.

I got what I think is a bogus message from an unnamed person that was posing as a BMW customer relations person that instructed me to please email them my name and vin number and they would contact me about getting my transmission fixed, which is popping out of gear. This is a problem that was described in a service bulletin. I have not heard back from anyone, so I am thinking someone on this board was being cute. Also, the same message was posted to Mike about the same problem. Anybody ever heard that BMW would respond to one of these chat boards?
