Hopefully we'll have a "lounge" soon, so that... (archive)

...the more "chatty" kinds of postings will have a home, and the more technical and on-topic postings will remain on this board. After people have been around for a few months, they tend to get bored of the same types of questions, but they still enjoy interacting with the people they've come to "know" over the time they've been on the board. The lounge will give people a place to joke around and talk about non-Z3-related matters.

It is easy to jump all over a newbie for asking a question that has been answered 20 times before, but what is the harm in answering that question one more time? I'll take responsibility for the archive search pretty much sucking...and that is something we're working on along with the lounge. Until (and even after) we have a better archive search, I hope people will continue to be helpful to newbies. (And, please realize, most people here are very willing to provide advice and any help they can to fellow Z3 enthusiasts.)
