I've been accused of being a consumate insider, working to exclude those who differ from me. Sitting here in Iowa, that seems utterly absurd.

I've also been told that I am a complete outsider, flitting around the edges of this group, never coming to grips with it, and certainly not being a 'team player'.

Pretty hard to have it both ways...that's for sure...so it must be in the eyes of the beholder, and nothing more.

Lots of room on this board for everyone...and the advice about not reading stuff that doesn't arouse interest is GOOD advice. Soon, you will start recognizing nicknames, and learning which you want to avoid. Some wouldn't touch my postings...and others search them out...so again it is strictly a personal matter.

As to suggesting that this board ought to be for newbies, and the long time folks who know each other should go to AOL CHAT...some might actually think that that is confrontational. Not me, though. I recognize zany humor when I set it.
