I have had my seatbelt mechanism repaired 4 times under warranty, the airbag light was on every time. I now have less than 100 miles left on the initial warranty. The dealer says that this is a common problem. He has also told me that if it continues to fail, they will continue to repair it at no charge. Last time I asked for the failed parts and they told me that they were sent back to BMW.
