It can't do that. What it can do is change fuel trim if your emissions cycle mixture was off. That would also effect WOT mixture. If the trim goes to far it can set a fault.

If you happen to be in my neck of the woods I can pull the codes and check your trim.

As you know I have a bad back, going to HMS on Wednesday was a effort at best and I really paid the price on Thursday, HMS is a 100 mile trip for me one way and my DR doesn't want to drive long distances for a while. I probably go to my dealer and have them check the fault codes. I'll let you know how I make out
