Take I35 south to U. S. 67 and take that road southwest for 60 plus miles to Texas 220 which picks up U. S. 281 in Hico. Then south on U.S. 281 to San Antonio. Depending on the amount of time you have avaiable at Burnet you could go west on Texas 29 to Texas 16 at Llano(Home of Coopers' BBQ) and then south on Texas 16 to San Antonio. While longer there are streches of that road that are fun for a Z3, twisty and hilly. Depending again on time Fredericksburg can be worth a stop.

from Plano to San Antonio. I want to stay off I-35 as much as possible especially around Waco and Austin. My wife is flying into Dallas 10-9-01 and I have reservations at the Riverwalk Inn B&B on 10-10-01.

Thanks for info,
