I've gotten a few thumbs-up from pedestrians lately while driving home from work. Feels good. :) No more problems with the rear wiper situation, like the person suggested, two quick pushes for one wipe. Dumb, but whatever.
For some reason i've noticed lots of people seem to like
tailgating the Coupe as well.. Dunno if they're trying to check for stickers inside the tailpipes or what, but its irritating.
Clutch pedal was making the juddering noise when you let it out slowly, but that seems to have gone away now. Shifting is still kinda notchy, particularly the 1->2 shift. Hopefully since we've only got 650 miles or so on the car it still will loosen up with time.
We don't even bother with the stereo most of the time, preferring instead to listen to the sweet song of the engine.
Got a cargo net from the bike shop yesterday, $9.99 for a nice red one to match the car. Also snagged a nice red blanket from the airplane I flew on the other weekend as partial repayment for two cancelled flights. Worked really great for securing the wet/dry vac I had back there, even in the midst of my panic-stop experiments. The brakes had started squealing a bit so I decided to try and get them good and hot. They just work so well you really don't have to ever stomp 'em unless you mean to...
rambling on.. I tell ya, every time I get out of that car I just can't wait to get back in :) It even gets about the same mileage as our RAV4.
oh yeah- haven't had any of the gas gauge problems with full tank reading improperly, but geezus, we get like 215 miles on the first 3/4 tank, but only about 40 more before the light comes on. That last quarter tank is gone just like THAT. We're getting about 260 miles on 11.4 gallons to fill.
