I only changed the rear shocks because I felt this was the weakest link on the M Coupe's suspension. As I understand it, changing the springs will put you in a different autocross class, but that may not be important to you.

I bought the shocks through ASI in El Cajon, CA. They were recommended by Bilstein's western regional office and I think the price was about $85.00 per shock plus shipping. I believe the fronts are about $230 each.

Give them a ring at 619 444-9766 if you don't already have a source.


PS If you're doing the work yourself, getting to the upper mounting bolts on the rear shocks takes some time due to all the interior pieces that have to be removed. I'd budget a good three hours for the rear shocks alone.
