My brother got a ticket in Conneticut last year. He is licensed in California. The police officer who gave him the ticket told him that his insurance company won't get the info. It's been more than 6 months and nothing happened. He is insured in Conneticut, though, so his situation is alittle different from yours. Since, it was my brother not me, and therefore second hand info., I'd get a validation of what I wrote. But I hope it helps.
