My car arrived at the dealer last week. I test drove it yesterday and will pick it up next Friday. It is Evergreen/Evergreen. The color is about as controversial as the car's styling. I like it, it is a very unusual color and gives the car a street rod appearance. During the test drive I noticed many folks stared and pointed. I guess I'll get used to it.

The price was not great but I'm happy. I live in the Denver area and the market here is very hot. The dealer did agree to install the chrome package, thanks for the tips. I think I'll pass on the alarm and cd changer--to pricey.

One good suprise, the car has Michelin tires. The oil guage was not working when we started out but kicked in later. My biggest complaint (so far) the stereo quality and performance is not in ratio with the price of the car. My wife has the upgraded HK system in her 323 and its very nice. The system in my Ford F150 is at leat as good and I think sounds a little better. What gives with the Germans and the audio systems in their cars? I will probably upgrade it, but it seems such a waste of money to have to do this. I'm thinking of replacong all speakers and installing two 4 channel amps. Any advice is appreciated.

Anyhow I'm very excited about the car and would like to thank you for your helpful suggestions and interesting comments.
