Whoa! Oil gauge NOT working? ... and just how much "later" did it "kick in"? Let's hope it was just the gauge and not a bad oil pump. No unusual tapping sounds from the engine compartment at the time the gauge was not working, I hope.

Otherwise ... CONGRATS! Get used to be pointed and stared at!
