Need opinions on audio upgrade (archive)

I'm going to pick up my coupe this Friday and I've decided to upgrade the audio system. I think I'll keep the factory head unit and sub woofer. I'm leaning towards replacing the speakers and adding an amplifier. I've started talking to the audio shops and would like some advice. Everyone seems to recommend the MB Quart speakers. So far the two amps recommended; Soundstream 75x4 and Eclipse 50 x4. I'm also trying to decide on whether to keep the factory amp and just power the sub or buy a 5 channel amp.

Please if any of you have recommendations on products or different upgrade ideas, let me know. Thanks!
