Apparently the Eclipse 8" aluminum sub is a tremendous product and only needs a .2 cubic foot cabinet to operate properly. My brother uses a "high-end mobile fidelity" shop (when I visited the they were working on a heavily modified Porsche turbo that was getting an unbelievable installation for the president of Monster Cable), and these guys swear by the product.

It sounds worthy of consideration if you decide to upgrade the sub.
