To the best of my knowledge Mike hasn't modified his car. He does have the factory 17" wheel package so he has good tires (at least they're not the Dunflop 8080s).

And you may have read some of Mark Sipe's comments in the past explaining why the Z3 coupe is better for competition, basically boiling down to less weight and, I believe, stiffer spring rates or shock valving.

But in the end, I gotta give the nod to Mike's driving skills. It's one thing if he beats me, a hack driver. But when he runs away from every M stock car at the event - between 12 and 15 drivers at the last two events - it seems to support... driver skill.

That's my 2¢.
