: Why is Mike Z continually beating the Mcoupes? Is is due to driving proficiency or something to doe with the cars. On paper it would seem like the mcoupe would beat the Z3coupe time after time. I am guessing it must be driver skill, but please enlighten me.

: Congrats by the way Mike,

In addition to comments by both Mike's, I have seen the way Mike Z. drives. He has great control and restraint. I usually autoX a car with a lot less power than my M coupe. And, I usually do a lot better. I am just getting used to all the torque of the M coupe. It is a lot to handle. I wouldn't think of adding more power until I was able to tame the beast I already have. One thing I did notice that gave me a lot of problems on the track was my shifter. Apparently several of the instructors who drive my car said that I needed to add a strong tranny brace?!? They said that on the track under heavy breaking/acceleration, the transmission can move and thus have trouble getting into gear. Basically, the end result was I kept missing shifts and had tremendous difficulty down shifting from third to second. When this happened the car became extremely unsettled and three times it swapped ends. Any suggestions?
