Importing a purchased car into california from another state?

Does anybody know about this? I am thinking about purchasing a coupe (finally!) from another state, and I was wondering what extra special items I need to worry about. Has anybody done this yet, and if so, what costs did they incur?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
