the M coupe does tend to follow road imperfections, primarily due to a lot of caster designed into the suspension. it provides more road feel, but the downside is you get it all the time, want it or not. some tire brands/models make it more noticeable than others. when is switched from stock dunlops to bfg kd's this tendency became much more pronounced. the car will also 'fall off' the crown on most roads, i.e. it will tend to steer down the slight slope that is incorporated in most roads for water drainage. just means you have to pay attention ALL the time :) that's the price, but the rewards are great! go for it!
