I'd choose black for the following reasons... (archive)

: I am finally coming down to pick the color for my Coupe. Will it be handsome blck/blck or CUTE dakar yell/blck? My wife suggest that dakar yell will be very interesting car as well as attracting CHP. I will be the only M-Coupe owner in my city, so rareness is definitely there regardless of color. I haven't seen any M-Coupe around here in the past 2-3 months, the one on 210FWY about 2 months ago does not count. So, please give me your opinion on which color should I take.

Mc, I'd pick black for a number of reasons.
1) The M Coupe is a radical car by anyone's meaning. It deserves a radical appearance and one way to do this is with the extremely subtle black/black scheme. Tricky, eh?
2) Dakar Yellow is not as common as black, and will be harder to sell on the used market.
3) Black is harder to keep clean but is very worth it to step back and admire that deep shine in the black finish! And think how great some chrome stone guards would look!
And the final reason:
4) A black evil lurks back into the shadows from whence it came much more quietly than a yellow car... you don't want 'em to see us coming do you? *grin*
