From what I recall, there are zero mechanical changes, some color availability changes, and very small cosmetic changes. For example, they switched from Artic to Titanium Silver. The grille is chromed in 2000 and there is chrome around the headlights.

Bottom line (as Bruce briefly stated) ... NO significant changes. You find a low miles '99 in mint condition that'll save ya $5K to $8K over a new 2000 ... get it!
