Well, I thought on it all night and came to the conclusion that the roadster was the way to go... for me. I have the wagon which has all the utility you might ask for, and I really wanted an open-air car. I love the coupe for it's looks, but I really wanted a roadster. I'm going to try and get my dad in the coupe because he's always loved them... and then we could trade back-n-forth.

(the following is roadster-specific, so ignore it if you want).

I first test drove the 2.8... I'd driven my sister's 2.8 long time ago and enjoyed it. I couldn't wipe that grin off my face when we got back :) I then drove the 2.3 (due diligence) and it was nice, but not quite enough. From there, I drove the M-Roadster, blue on imolo blue/black interior, blue roof... BEEEEautiful. I didn't like it as much as the 2.8. The power was awesome, but the 2.8 felt smoother all around, shifting/power/braking/ride. I'm sure the M is a superior car, but not for what I was looking for.

So, '00 Z-3 2.8l, white with tan interior, black roof, tan boot thingy. Auto roof, sport seats (with heaters), in-dash CD, factory alarm and windscreen.

Thanks for your input though... I really think I'd be driving a coupe if they'd done something better with the sunroof... .

Dave
