About 2-3 weeks ago I saw and test drove an imola red with estoril blue interior M coupe at John Roberts in Dallas. It is being sold on consignment for BMW in the used car department. It is a model year 2000 with 2000 miles on it. At the time it had been there for months, so if they still have it I'm sure they are itching to get rid of it. The color combo is not offered by BMW for the M coupe so this was a special order. I thought the combo was pretty sharp looking. Anyway I bet you could get it fro $38-$39k range. They're asking $41k I believe. For the most part people that are buying the cars for $33k are buying '99's. I haven't heard of a 2000 going for that little even with miles on it.
Incidently I had a '98 2.8 A4 quattro prior to my M coupe and this car is MUCH sportier. You won't miss much about the audi except for perhaps the quattro (if you currently have it).
