Crappy finish on wheels, anyone else have same? (archive)

I got around to washing my car for the first time today. The wheels have one of the most piss-poor finishes I have ever seen. It looks like some kid spray painted them silver and didn't remember to prime them first. Does anyone else have this issue? If no one else does then I am going to see if I can't get something out of this, whether it is new wheels, or a new powder coat, or whatever.

Kind of lame that $500+ wheels look so cheaply done.
