There are three Houston-area BMW dealers: Intercontinental, Momentum, and Advantage. All my information is about a month old, so go check for yourself.

Advantage seems to have had the biggest selection of coupes (Z3 and M). Momentum had a stable full of used 1999 models (4000+ miles) and some new M Coupes (no Z3's). Intercontinental (last I checked) had exactly one Z3 Coupe (with 4000 miles) and a brand-new Silver M Coupe. Again, my information is a month old.

I bought my Z3 Coupe at Advantage. As car dealers go, they're nice (but they're still annoying). The Momentum guy nearly made me want to spit on him. I never seriously tried to bargain with Intercontinental, so I don't have a strong opinion about them.

Whatever you do, make sure you check the odometer of any car before you start bargaining. If it's got 500+ miles on it, make your offer on it it like it's a used car. That's how many people here are getting the best deals.

Dan
