CD Changer Prewired?? Mistake? (archive)

Guys...I have a quick question...

Are '99 M Coupes prewired incorrectly from the factory. I went to install my CD Changer in my car today and all that I could find was one of the two cables in the changer slot..it was the data cable...the audio cable was missing? I should have two cables right???

Is their some kind of a mistake with the prewiring on these cars? If so, this really isn't right..has anyone been able to get BMW to pay for a wiring job out of warranty? I'm not sure if I even like the idea of my dealer tearing apart the inside of my car!

Is it even worth it..should I just buy the indash CD?

Please let me know...

Thanks
David J
