The crankshaft sensor recall are from the engines produced 1/98 to 1/99.

As for the motorsport cold start idle, thats from the 3.2L engine from 6/98. I don't think this is your case

Turning the steering wheel all the way and having the engine to drop in RPM's is normal. Don't do this all the time cause it's going to strain your power steering pump. I too am having the drop at idle at a red light. I thought it would be the idle air control valve. Now I'm thinking if its a software related. As long as the engine doesn't stall, it's something we have to live with.
