...in fact, my tech at the local dealer even helped me wire it all up. Having had the joy of spending a lot of money troubleshooting the hacked up wiring on my old 633CSi, I decided that messing with the BMW wiring in my coupe wasn't something I wanted to do.

Plus, down the road if BMW tries to blame any electrical problems on the V1 wiring, it's easy to just disconnect it from the system this way.
