I don't agree with your point of view. Unlike others who have responded, I own a Y2K M Coupe. I bought mine in spite of the styling, as I had come to a point in my life that I just wanted an M. I didn't fit into an M3 coupe, and the M3/4, while having more room, would have cost me what I spent on the M coupe (2 yr old vs. new for same money - do the math)

I think you need to take a look at why you bought your car. IMHO, "I never met a BMW I didn't like" (with apologies to M. West). Each are unique, special, whatever. Appreciate each for what they are - period.
