Someone on the MB was working an putting together an oil cooler for the car. From what I understand, the oil filter housing was the key. I believe this unit houses the sensor, so all we would need to do is pipe the oil to the cooler and bolt the cooler (there appears to be room up front there).

Summer is coming up on the Bay Area, so we'll see how high the engine temp goes. If it's not too bad, I just might leave well enough alone.
