: Someone asked me to design a one piece clutch stop that did not stick out like a sore thumb.
: I made the initial prototype out of black Delrin and will probably make some out of steel (black oxided) too. This is a true one piece design, not something glued to a stud.
: The length has been adjusted slightly to better fit the newer cars. The upper part is machined to exactly fit the inside of the stock BMW rubber cap. This keeps the stock BMW rubber cap in place without having to glue it on. The fact that there are now no voids between the rubber cap and the top of the stop results in a nicer pedal feel. The face of the stop which you see through the 10 mm hole in the rubber cap is machined flat to reflect less light. The fender washer and jam nut will be black oxided to complete the stealth look.
: The cost for me to bring this to life is just over $20.00 each not counting the design, my time or run around expense. I will be selling them for $30.00 each, shipping included.
: You can easily make a similar one, as shown at my home page, for a few dollars and your time.
: My first one, long ago, was a 10mm x 1.5mm x 40mm bolt with a square piece of rubber glued to the top of it.
