Rear windshield washer valve (archive)

The parts data shows a valve for the windshield washer system for our cars. I have no idea where it is on the car. It is not in the trunk area or under the hood insulater or near the washer tank. I have no idea if it will work. Will let you know if it does. You still have the water from the valve to the washer arm. The part number is 61 66 1 389 040 which retails for $4.35. You may want to buy a couple of hose clamps too. Part # 16 13 1 379 229 which retail for $0.43 each.
