FACTS: My '00 M-Roadster's equipped with: w/MechTech Turbo running at 7 lb.'s, MechTech reprogramed software, straight-pipe exhaust without the CAT-Converters taken out, using the Split Second device ARC-1, Light FlyWheel, RPS clutch, NGK racing spark-plugs, synthetic Mobil-1 oil, and appropriate rim/tire & suspention upgrades. PROBLEMS/QUESTION: my ///M constantly throws "check engine" light and having checked the code(s), they are E3 & E4. The performance problem that is bugging the h--l out of me/my car can be described as: momentary hassitations in accelaration, about 0.5-2 seconds long during mild, medium, heavy, and/or maximum accelaration. The hessitations kick in anywhere between 2,000 to 5,250 rpms between one and four times during one even act of accelaration. I am continously being told that this is caused by leanness of the air/fule mixture set/caused by OBD-II or the computers "brain". Anyone have any suggestion or ideas what they could be and how I could fix it!? Anyone know a "tuner" that is well skilled with using the computer to retune the vehicle in SouthWestern US!?
