Met Doug Peete from the Z3 board with his Blue/Blue M Roadster. He has just about every mod that I want, the bastard! :)
This evet ran MUCH better then the last one, it still went very slow in the beginning because we were only running 1 car on the course at a time.
The course was a see of cones and was a nightmare to navigate. I am of course an EXTREME novice, but I was spening the whole time trying to figure out what the hell the course was doing, and didnt seem to have the time to think about what I was supposed to be doing.
I am anxiously awaiting the next SCCA or NASA event so that I can drive on a course setup the way I think it aught to be.
: Well, the NASA autox at Marina this weekend was a long day, but it sure was a lot of fun. I met a couple of other M Coupe and M Roadster people there, including Paul in his Imola roadster and Lester and his wife (arghh I'm bad with names) who both drove quite nicely in their beautiful green M Roadster (ok, I'm partial to green:) It was fun to meet everyone and I did my best to uphold the honor of my coupe and its humble Pilot HXs, even though the announcer was making some jokes about my car's resemblance to a pizza deliver van:) That's fine with me, anyone from Domino's want to sponsor me?:)
: Did anyone go to the CCA autox at Oakland? How was it?
: Well, if Lester is reading this, I have a couple of questions...
: -Were you at one of the BMW CCA Car control clinics at 3com park between 1 and 1 1/2 years ago? I went to two of them, and somehow have a funny feeling that I met you and your wife somewhere before...
: -Those are nice rims you have there. What are they?
: -I have a couple ok pictures of your car in action, I could post them or email them to you if you are interested...
