It's shorter than stock and retails for $80 (Part #82-23-9-405-686, but Cutter Motors sold it for $63.25).
I don't know the feel of the titanium shift knob (as I missed the last autocross that the Gideon was at). But I suspect the round titanium knob must feel pretty good.
I don't know if my shift knob is the same height or taller, but it's shorter than the stock shift knob and my guess is that it might be a little taller than the titanium shift knob.
But it feels great. So, here's my opinions:
Is it cool? I think so.
Is it worth Sending $$$ on? Yes, at the sacrifice of losing the shift knob illumination (Though Lester pointed out that it can be done, I've just been lazy to do it).
Is it worth $63.25? Yes, since the original illuminated shift knob retails around $90 (I think)
